VP of Sales & Business Development Strategy
Sales Manager (s)

Papertrailer, a Bloomington web startup focused on helping individuals and small businesses keep better records and eliminate paper and clutter, is looking for part-time/ flex-time individuals to fill sales/bizdev related roles (title will depend on experience level). This position provides a lot of opportunities and so we are looking for independent and motivated individuals to step up to the task.

Job Description:

  • Take the lead in developing sales strategy and materials from scratch, including print, web and in-person.
  • Work to acquire primarily small business (and some individual) clients, locally, nationally and/or internationally via multiple channels.
  • Manage post-sale customer service.
  • Work with management to periodically revise acquisition strategies based on potential and existing clients’ feedback.
  • Participate in local events and/or functions to promote the business.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, self-starting and self-managing individual
  • Ability to wear multiple hats
  • Creativity in terms of sales approaches, mediums and methodologies
  • Prior sales and/or entrepreneurial experience
  • Prior sales team management experience a plus
  • Prior education, experience or demonstrated knowledge of web tech preferred
  • Ability to focus and communicate effectively with small business owners
  • Interest in being a part of an entrepreneurial team
  • Ability to manage the entire sales lifecycle
  • Personable and collaborative work style
  • Degree (or pursuit of one) in business or tech preferred
